Who We Are
With nearly four decades of experience, Commercial Roofing Rana is the most trusted family owned roofing contractor in the Midsouth.
We are a family-owned roofing business that was founded by Floyd Newcomb in 1983 in Memphis, TN. Though we are known for our commercial roofing expertise, it wasn’t always like that. As Floyd built the company through the ’80s and ’90s, he dabbled in a little bit of everything. He started out as a framer and eventually became licensed to build homes & commercial properties from the ground up.
When the housing crash occurred in 2008, Floyd decided that the smartest thing to do was to redefine his business. So, he focused on perfecting the one service he loved the most – roofing. In 2014 he took it one step further and transitioned to only servicing commercial roofs. Since then, Commercial Roofing Rana has been a proud family name.

Meet Our Owners
Casey Newcomb of Commercial Roofing Rana was named CEO in 2021 after a lifetime of experience working in the trade. As a child, his father and owner, Floyd Newcomb, would bring him to various job sites. During that time, Commercial Roofing Rana was responsible for building, framing, flooring, and roofing. He could see first-hand the commitment and care that went into every project. Once Casey became a teenager, he worked alongside his father over the summer. He’s passionate about working with internal teams. Seeing them excited to deliver the best solutions for customers inspires him. In his 20s, Casey served stateside, overseas in Afghanistan, and joint NATO operations in Europe as a member of the Tennessee National Guard. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s Degree. He enjoys playing basketball and is an avid supporter of the Memphis Grizzlies and Tigers.
